CRM Asia Staff Conference
We have just finished a week with CRM staff from around Asia, getting connected and inspired and refreshed.
We all traveled to Indonesia, where we met with CRM leaders from the US, and Drs. Sherwood and Judith Lingenfelter of Fuller Seminary and Biola University. Outstanding cultural anthropologists, Christian leaders, and godly people, they taught us about cross-cultural leadership.
The real benefit of time like this, though, is staying connected with colleagues in the ministry who are working to build spiritual leaders in other countries in Asia. They are a source of tremendous strength and practical help to keep going on, and to grow in our effectiveness.
This year, we were thrilled that two CRM Singapore staff couples joined us: How Beng & Molly Shoo and Serene & Andy Lim. They are great partners in the ministry in Singapore, and were a real encouragement to the other CRM staff. Now they have a bigger picture of what CRM looks like in other contexts, too.
