American Car Trip, part 1
After visiting with family in Atlanta and Tennessee, we drove to Colorado for a weeklong conference. This is Jim’s ideal vacation, a car trip across country! However, we covered over 1,300 miles in 3 days in order to get to Colorado on time, which didn’t leave much time for exploring sights along the way. We mostly got a feel for the countryside of Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and Colorado.
After the conference, we’ll have a chance to pick up the trail and drive across Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California.
